Good observation. How much of that kind of talk do you think is just for self-protection from being beaten and demoralized again? I wonder from time to time about that and even have to catch myself from doing it. I don’t really believe that “nothing will come of it”, but sometimes people are a bit afraid to hope for it to be true because we’ve been so disappointed so many times, so they downplay it. At least they have the salve of saying I told you so when they’re disappointed again.

I’m hit and miss on this reminder lately due to a local daily Bible study. But, today our study progressed to Esther chapters 7 and 8. What a great outlook for these United States!
