Look for a youtube on replacing the screen on your model, you might get
lucky.
It helps to know where to pry, have the right tools, take lots of pics as you
go to help in reassembly, have little trays to organize all the different sized
screws, etc, and know where any tape is that has to be pried loose, and
how…
If you haven’t attempted something like it before, it might be worth
paying $50-$100 labor, plus the screen cost for an experienced laptop
tech to do it for you.

OT.....well we, mostly my husband, was able to get the housing and PART of the screen off...apparently he only got the front section of the screen off and we’ve now taken it to the technician who said he never saw that done before....lol
