I'm sure they've gamed for Sheriff reactions, but the bottom line is that's gotta be a big ole unknown for the most part. There are some that are bought and paid for, but they thought the LA County Sheriff was bought and paid for too. He just refused to enforce new mask mandates.
I agree "big ole unknown". I live in a rural, sparsely populated, county where the county sheriff dept. in the only LE. Our sheriff is very, very, low on my list. After more than one conversation with him, regarding some serious miscreants, I'm convinced he is just there to collect his paycheck and retirement.
