Looks like the Mercs finally turned their engines up. Probably couldn’t stand the idea of losing on their home track with an English driver. It will be interesting to see if it gives them any reliability issues.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s sprint race. I have no idea if it will be entertaining, but I applaud F1s willingness to try new things. All things considered, I think this American ownership team has done a fine job thus far.

and cars suffering damage in a dog and pony show saturday sprint not making the big show on sunday will not make the fans let alone sponcers happy at all
i take that back, that was NO dog and pony show...
i still don’t like the idea of hazarding the cars but it was no sprint, that, was a RACE!
