The NYT Magazine article works hard to push Black Rifle Coffee management as half-hearted cultural warriors.
When you read and watch what the company actually said about the Kyle Rittenhouse incident, they simply did not want to be put in the middle of it.
That seems a wise decision.
The NYTs piece trys to paint them as sort of semi-woke...
Well, the old adage of “Either you are for us or against us” comes to mind. They could have done what most companies do. Say nothing. By saying something, they by default, picked a side because anything they said....anything...will be spun one way or the other.
Then, they decided to be interviewed by the NYT in the first place. That in and of itself, regardless of what they said, speaks volumes. Those on our side never speak to the nyt, cnn, msnbc, nbc, cbs, abc, washington post...ever.
There is no abstaining in this CWII.
