There is nothing like seeing other parts of the world to make you appreciate the USA!
Locking the muzzards up except to go to work is a good thing.
"Don't ever play Lady of Spain again!"
“I met her while she was working at a local gym as a personal trainer, a grueling 12 hour/day job.”
It was an interesting article, but I have to laugh at the description of assisting fat, spoiled, rich New Yorkers with their exercise routines in an air conditioned fancy health club as being a “grueling 12 hour/day job”. When that is how an article begins it demeans the rest of the piece. It is a joke. The person who wrote this article must live in a bubble.
She’s still a lefty at heart. She was bemoaning the fact that the government didn’t care about her complaints.
What a whiney b*tch. She doesn’t think there is censorship in this country? What rock is she living under. My wife has COPD and wears oxygen equipment 24/7. She was berated at our local Kroger store for lowering her mask because she was out of breath and getting light headed. She had to leave the store so she could breathe. Welcome to fascism little girl.
Sounds like Orwell. Voters can do something about it but 51% will get us nowhere.
If you go to another culture to live, you have to let go of your own ideas of how it should be.
You cannot change them and in the end, you accept the good with the bad.
So, who will she vote for in 2022 and 2024?
Yeah, think the opposite is true of the pussy grabbing. It was a private dialogue between men discussing the female groupy persona. What these females are so willing to allow by famous rich men.
Political groupies and fan girls who get hot for famous, powerful men?
The millions of women who voted for Bill Clinton, for one recent example?
That one comment probably hurt candidate and President Trump more than any other thing he said or did.
But … what he said is also the truth and, after witnessing its power, that truth makes many a young man want to be a rock star or famous actor.
Because what he said is true: you can … and they want you to … and if you are famous enough, they will be throwing their panties at you on stage, sometimes while they’re still wearing them!
“Hey, hey, I wanna be a rockstar!”
This piece was very interesting and I appreciate your posting it.
She said >> until it was highlighted in the 2019 primaries that his Medicare for all and free college would equate to much higher taxes. I just had not equated those two things.
My jaw dropped to the floor when I read that.
She had never realized that huge spending programs have to be paid for, and that means higher taxes?
I have to say that now I have read that, I understand lefties better.
…
Un-believable!
When I go to the gym and someone is leading an exercise class, they are doing all the exercises.
After the class, they get a short break and then do it all again.
Hour after hour.
I don’t even like to exercise for 10 minutes!
I’m a JP fan.

I read this article in spite of the skepticism I derived from the title.
And it was worth it, every word.
An amazing transformation. She and many others are undergoing it, and can’t say it.
But critical mass is gathering.
Different strokes for different folks. When I met my wife over 30 years ago she was the Northwest Regional Aerobics Instructor Champion. I had no idea such a title or this type of competition even existed. And as far as I know this type of competition does not exist anymore. She taught multiple classes a day all over the area including “fat boy” programs at a local military base. She also was sought after to work at fitness clubs.
I was a state champion and nationally ranked bicycle racer who rode over 10,000 miles a year. Our mutual interest in fitness is one of the primary reasons we ended up together. So I do not relate to your not liking to exercise. To us it has been a way of life and not drudgery.
My wife would never ever have referred to being an aerobics instructor as a “grueling 12 hour/day job”. She loved it and would never have reached the level she did if that is the way she felt. She also did not refer to herself as a personal trainer. From our experience that implies someone who is working one on one with people who are trying to get into shape and typically is not describing someone who is leading exercise classes.
Almost any job can become drudgery, but I do not really relate to the way that the person this article is about described their former job to the author. I think that it may have been good that she changed professions. For years after my wife stopped teaching nutrition and aerobics dance people would come up to her while we were in public and thank her for helping to change their lives. It was quite amazing and she still is a very inspirational person.
