That seems to support natural immunity as being stronger than the immunity initiated by vaccines… or at least more effective than one or more of the vaccines administered in Israel. It would be interesting to know how many of the vaccinated breakthrough cases involved people who had not yet had their second shot.

About 10% of Israelis were previously infected. About 90% of adults were vaccinated.
That disparity alone could (should) account for some significant number more cases among the vaccinated, if protection was equal. There are other confounding factors that might come into play, with small samples.
I’d expect natural immunity to be stronger, especially among those who had severe infections - but it does not follow that vaccine protection is weak. I think that would be the erroneous conclusion some would seek to paint.
Although they use the term “patients”, in the USA we would call them “Cases” - meaning positive tests, not hospitalizations, which is what “Patient” implies in the American context.
