My brother who has probably 4-5 comorbidities, recovered in a few days. He said it wasn’t that bad.
When your number is up, it’s up. We don’t and won’t know why some people react so poorly and others don’t. But in either case, one example cannot be applied to everyone as a whole.

One of the fellows I took care of during H1Ni, swine flu, was a 33 yo rock climber, very healthy. He was on a vent for a month, on a circular bed because his lungs were so bad, medically paralyzed and sedated, numerous iv and tube feed meds. He survived, but it was a rough go. Flu can be like that if not properly treated. Mistakes made.
