Keith Olbermann is an idiot. He can come and take them, that won’t fly here.
I own mine and have owned one since I was 12 or 13. Got my first shotgun then, still have it. Had repeating bolt action 22 CO2 pellet rifles about that same age.
My father died in March at 95, he left me a Springfield 1873 45-70 rifle and bayonet that he was given by his grandfather in 1928. (at 3 years old) Have not shot it yet, but will. It spent the last 40 years over my father’s fireplace.
Dad was an armorer during WWII. Serviced Quad 50’s and Bofors. He was a great man. Worked for himself all his life. Was totally fearless. Nice quiet guy, but don’t back him in a corner. I’ve seen what that did.
I miss him and my father-in-law. Both were great men.
Recently shot the family heirloom 1873 45-70 trapdoor that was given to my brother 50 years
I used to shoot ground hogs with it
I forgot how much that steel butt plate hurt!
I don’t have as much natural padding as I used to
