I loathe solicitors. You comment about the sign made me decide I should make one for my front door. This is what it says.
“Our time is VALUABLE to us. If you want US to listen your offering, WE will CHARGE you $50 for EACH MINUTE of OUR TIME that you take. You ought to just TURN AROUND and LEAVE. Don’t ring the bell. Don’t knock on our door. JUST LEAVE. We’re NOT kidding. GO NOW.

My husband will probably ask me to take it down. He’s much nicer to solicitors than I am.
