LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- A California couple says they were fully vaccinated, but still contracted COVID-19 while on vacation as experts say breakthrough cases are possible, especially with the delta variant.
However, health officials say the vaccine is still the best defense against the virus.

In June, after more than a year of pandemic stress, Sean Fruit and his wife decided to go to Las Vegas.
They were fully vaccinated and drove to their destination to avoid airplanes as an extra precaution.
Once there, Fruit said they did not wear masks.
"I took the option to take my mask off, and now that I look back on it, probably a bad idea," said Fruit.
When they got back home to their two children in San Benito County, Fruit started to feel sick. He and his wife tested positive for COVID-19.
"It was extremely frustrating because we just spent a year and a half avoiding this thing and it was scary. I mean I brought home the life-threatening illness that has been killing people around the country," explained Fruit, who added, "the only thing worse than that, is knowing I gave it to my kids."
Too young to be vaccinated, their seven and nine-year-old kids had congestion and low-grade fevers. But Fruit, who has a history of sinus infections, was sick in bed.
"I had never felt pain that bad in my head in my life. With my medical history, I'm pretty confident that if I hadn't had the boost from the vaccination, I might not be standing here talking to you right now," he said.

I’ve been in a bunch of them. Go to Vegas every 2-3 weeks. Have friends there so don’t usually stay in a hotel unless their busy/out of town/etc. But boy have I been in a bunch of casinos.....and never got Covid.

I was kind of joking around, but I was actually there a couple weeks ago. Didn’t really hang out in casinos though. Stayed at Cosmo. Went to Wynn, Treasure Island (never been there before, not going back), and several fine dining establishments. Friend’s birthday was the excuse but truth is we all needed a break. Over my lifetime I’ve probably been 500+ times, I have family connections to the development of the entire valley (unfortunately not their money though) so we’ve had family trips there since I was a tot. And until the last 2 years or so would go 3 or 4 times a year either for work, or for fun, or both.

BS: Willis cannot prove that, that is an opinion. It is a roll of the dice on how well or bad you do. They cannot predict your outcome.

Yep, but this one has more serious side effects recorded then the other vaccines.
Regarding not being 100% effective? Yes.
Regarding the growing number of known adverse affects and deaths during a trial period? No.
If actual science were involved, and not political science / threats of loosing ones job / threats of not being allowed into school / threats of door to door sales people taking names etc. etc. etc....these current vaccines would have their EUA's yanked.
Fraudchi, Pfizer/Moderna/J&J, the media, academia and the gov't bureaucrats at the CDC & FDA in particular, have WAY too much invested in these experiments.

I liked it better during Covid. 😂. When they reopened it was still super slow….and I loved it. Was there this last weekend and waaaay too many people.
Yup, due to the number of breakthroughs, the current story is that these people would have died had they not had the vaccine.
Yeah I couldn’t believe how packed it was. But I guess once Californians got the news that Vegas had lifted the mask mandate, a million of us got the same idea.
