Unfortunately this where Trump missed it, BIG TIME. He over-relied on his advisors. But he is still responsible. As the sign on President Truman's desk read, "The buck stops here." The question now is "Will Trump humble himself, and apologize for his gross error?" Or will he persist in his pride: "See how great I am. I got the vaccine done quicker than anyone."?
"God resists the proud, but gives grace to humble." (James 4:6, 1 Peter 5:5, among other verses.)
Those of who took the time and made the effort to educate ourselves, know that Trump was used, didn't do the research to support his "gut feeling" (March 20, 2020 press conference), and fell right into the deep state trap. It creates great cognitive dissonance in those of us who support Trump, to see that he was manipulated into promoting the killer and unnecessary so-called vaccine. Even worse than that and unthinkable, is that he knowingly is part of the scamdeminc.
I am unimpressed by your logic or your conclusion. The buck stops here is a great slogan.
Becoming President does not make you a physician or a biochemist, immunologist etcx. POTUS Trump could not reinvent the wheel. He used the deck of cards he was presented with. The CDC has been corrupt and incompetent for decades.
How ridiculous to blame President Trump. He tried to push all of the things I listed. I watched every conference and I heard him with my own ears. We have had enough back seat quarterbacks making ridiculous pronouncements. When you take command in media res and you have the establishment, the left, the media and the deep state obstructing you do the best you can. No one has ever done a better job for America with or without the level of obstruction.
If you have cognitive dissonance it is due to your lack of grasp of the larger picture & of the possible. Stop being part of the problem and work towards solutions.
Despite my comment I also wish POTUS Trump was not pushing the vaccine as a great accomplishment. He does not have the background to understand the games being played. He has said it should be voluntary and I am at least comforted by that. We all used to wonder if he was able to get information freely or if it was filtered by people whose biases colored what POTUS was told. I wonder that now about the “jab” and the issues, the way statistics are manipulated to make it seem to convey much more benefit than it does and the down playing of risk.
