This one is easy:
No. 1, cite me one thing that Long did that was fascist.
No. 2, cite me one thing he did that the present day democrat governors are doing, out of many, with locking down their states.
You must understand, that merely making an assertion, and repeating it over and over, does not prove your point.
Fascist, Socialist, Dictatorship, Totalitarian, Demagogue. You name it. No difference between today’s Demonrat party, except perhaps for his not embracing present-day degenerate ideology, as that would not have flown in the 1930s. Huey believed he owned the state of Louisiana and would employ any methods to control it: violence, coercion, blackmail. He literally (and illegally) held onto both the Governorship and the Senate seat at the same time.
Long even implied it, saying we’d get fascism in America, but it would be called anti-fascism (see “Auntie-FA”). FDR wanted a slower approach to his totalitarianism, Long wanted it faster. But to claim Long was not a fascist flies in the face of reality. How do you claim he wasn’t ?
BTW, I never implied today’s Demonrat (and some RINO) Governors AREN’T fascists. They are, too. I just call them the mashup of leftist totalitarianism, which is Stalinazism. Control freaks who have little to no use for a democratic process beyond getting them into power (by whatever means) and then removing it or utilizing massive fraud to retain it for however long.
