So, President Trump, this begs the question, why, knowing Barr’s past, and his associations, did you choose him for your AG?
He picks Swamp creatures for cabinet and administration positions, and then acts surprised when they circumvent his desires and goals.
His paradoxical choices were real head scratchers.
I can only offer a guess as to why. He was a Washington outsider and had no in-side political advisor he could trust. A more conservative AG nominee might not have been approved by the Senate (I have forgotten what the Senate make-up was around the mid-term). I clearly remember Sidney Powell warning us on Faux News that Barr was a Bushie and could not be trusted.
Trump also displayed incomprehensible negligence over Freedom of Information Act requests.
As Chief Executive Officer, Trump had the authority to read and release any document in the Executive Branch of government.
Instead, for four years, Trump did not expedite the release of any FOIA documents, even though almost all of the thousands of documents under FOIA would have been politically helpful for Trump, for the GOP, and for Conservatives.
It literally took years, and millions of dollars of legal fees, for Conservative organizations to finally obtain documents that were, more often than not, massively redacted to protect the Deep State.
Trump could have instantly un-redacted every one of those documents - but, once again, he did nothing.
The sellout started the day Trump won. As far as Trump’s choice, before Trump we had eight years of Obama. That has a lot to do with who Trump had as potential appointees.
Mitch the Bitch wasn’t going to let the Senate approve just anyone, you know.
