"COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen"?Where did that come from? I've never heard of it before. It took some wading through a lot of the EU pages to find this company:
Janssen-Cilag International NV
Turnhoutseweg 30
B-2340 Beerse
Belgium
Then a bit more digging reveal the on the CDC website: "Manufacturer: Janssen Pharmaceuticals Companies of Johnson & Johnson" and "Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen (J&J/Janssen)." I guess "Janssen" is "Johnson" in Dutch.
According to the CDC's VAERS database, Jansen is the actual company name so I'm guessing Jansen is using their Johnson and Johnson brand for marketing as I've seen false assertions that the J&J is a 'more traditional' that everyone's familiar with. Yeah - an injected DNA fragment that makes your body produce spike proteins. Well, the other mRNA's were getting bad press so I think they wanted to trigger fond memories of Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo and other products.
