In the Pfizer study 200,000 got a placebo (water saltine solution) and 200,000 got the vaccine. The people weren’t told if they got the placebo or vaccine BIG ASTERISK HERE, Keep reading. In the placebo group, 0.74 got Covid. In the vaccine group, 0.04 got Covid. SO BOTH GROUPS WERE WELL UNDER ONE PERCENT. The effective rate your hear about is calculated this way: subtract .04 from .74 and divide the result (0.70) by 0.74 and - Shazam - you get 95 percent. So anyone who takes this experimental non-approved vaccine is taking it to reduce the risk from .74 to .04. The media, pharma and libs and many RINOS have entirely misled the country and world re what that effective rate really stands for, preventing most people from making a truly informed decision.
The ASTERISK KICKER - so how did Pfizer determine if someone in the study had Covid or not?!? Duh, they gave all 400,000 people Covid tests at the end of each week right? NOPE. Instead, people self-reported their symptoms, Pfizer interpreted them and then Pfizer determined whether to Covid test them or not. What makes this procedure even more outrageous? Almost all of the people who received the vaccine ABSOLUTELY KNEW THEY DID BECAUSE AT A MINIMUM THEY HAD ARM PAIN as does almost anyone who gets it reports but as we also know many of them BECAME SICK WITH FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS. Why is this so important? Because these people were self reporting their symptoms during the study. In other words, if I know I got the vaccine because I was sore and/or sick, I will be less inclined to report my Covid symptoms to Pfizer because I would consciously or unconsciously believe they weren’t actually caused by Covid. So, the 0.04 numbers is without question higher and almost certainly exceeds the .74 placebo group because those numbers were practically the same to begin with.
Your numbers are off by an order of magnitude. It was about 20,000 I’m each group, not 200,000. Talking louder doesn’t help either.
