At the link, the top of the page starts wtih specifications. Scrolling down the page you find black and white photos (1944, Kamikaze attack, General Douglas MacArthur signing Japanese Surrender in Tokyo Bay etc.) An additional 35 photos linked at the bottom continue this series.
I really liked a little video clip in the first comment beneath the post. If you click on it you can enlarge the video and turn the sound up to hear a tiny fraction of the immense sound of the guns as they fire. Here's a small image w/o sound to help those interested find the post to click on:

In July 1969 I pulled into DaNang, stowed my gear and got some Zs. Sometime after dark the concrete building where I was staying shook like hell and the most ungodly sound I had ever heard followed. After instant levitation I hit the floor, crawled downstairs, and asked a guy drinking a beer what had happened. It was only the SS Missouri out in DaNang Harbor firing off its big guns in support of some Marine operation west of DaNang.

Big Mo came into San Francisco Bay for Fleet week in the late 80’s, I got to go on board.
This was after they were modernized.
San Francisco was going to be the home port, but the wackos there (there were less back then, and some actual good normal people!!) complained and that plan was abandoned.

I went aboard the USS Missouri in Bremerton I thought it was odd that it was all mothballed but the bronze plate commemorating the surrender in Tokyo bay was still affixed to the deck.

Posted before about the horrendous noise those 16” shells make going overhead. Amazing weapons system.
