Hopefully they are nearby. We saw them 18 months ago. Great show.
We have tickets for their August 1 show in Pennsylvania but the show has been postponed due to Biden’s failed consulate.

Thanks! They are playing in some interesting and unexpected places, but none close enough to me so far.
I remain hopeful. Cheers!

SD had quite the complicated arrangements and timing in many songs.

I remember when the guitar player noticed that the chord progression(in kid) behind the solo was slightly different from the verse but Oh what a difference it made. Not sure if that was the studio hire or Walter Becker. Becker seemed to be very jazz oriented.

And the female backup vocalist was quite easy on the eyes... Better than the Babylon Sisters? :)

The cover guitarist, although impressive, doesn’t seem to replicate the actual solo, but I would have to re-listen to the original.

If they could do “Bodhisattva” I’d be really impressed.

Yea, that guitar riff is amazing. Becker was completely under rated.

Maybe the band ought to fly to Mexico and just walk across? Any man left on the Rio Grande, is the King of the World, as far as I know.

The two solos on Bodhisattva were Denny Dias and Skunk Baxter.

Countdown is probably my favorite SD album. Every song on it is fantastic.

I did not know that.
Thanks.
But I’m still right about Becker.
