I was diagnosed with an undifferentiated connective tissue disorder years ago. They tested me, and I don't have enough symptoms of Lupus to say I have it. My mother was diagnosed with it back in the late 60's, and back then, they knew little about the disease. My endocrinologist asked me if I planned to get the shot, and I told him "no," and gave him my reasons. He's never mentioned it again. My main reason for not getting the vaccine is that they don't even have an accurate test for the virus, so why would I get a vaccine for it.

I had to be tested last month in order to get a colonoscopy and gastroscopy done. The office called me to tell me that if I'd been vaccinated, I didn't need to be tested. I told them that made no sense at all, because you can still get the virus despite being inoculated, and can pass it on to others. The only response I got from the person I was talking to, was "Oh yeah...you're right."

I feel for you. My wife has either RA or Lupus. Very hard to distinguish the two. Her doctor told her DO NOT get the vaccine. I have psoriasis and my dermatologist said don’t get it. Mainly because of the meds I take for it. They have not done enough testing to know how it effects you. They need to do a lot of testing in people that have a bad reaction to the vaccine and the people that are dying from the vaccine need to donate their body to science. This is trials and government acts like it’s a tried and true vaccine.
