Like I said, watch out for the French, they are becoming a basketball factory.

Gonzaga's had at least 3 players in recent history from France that contributed mightily to their success:

Ronny Turiaf

Killian Tillie, now with Memphis:

Joel Ayayi:

BTW, Joel earned his BA last December.

Thanks. I wondered where Killian Tille ended up. Hope his injury history is behind him. He’s great shooter, defender, and passer. He’s also very smart.

Victor Wembanyama is a name to look out for, actually been watching him in the Under-19 World Cup. He’s still a bit raw, but NBA teams will fall over themselves to get him.

Just saw, US beat France 83-81 to win the Gold Medal at the U-19 Tournament, France might have won had Wenbenyama not fouled out with a few minutes left.

Indeed the rest of the world is catching up.

Ayayi will be drafted in the second round, if not late in the first. Very good shooter, great defender, very good passer. Also rebounds well, and there was no one who moved as well without the ball.
