I am fully certain that one of those Airplane! references is:

DR. RUMACK: "We better land and get these people to a hospital."

STEWARDESS: A hospital? What is it?

DR. RUMACK:. It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.

I’ll have you know that right after I read this comment from you I messaged my son who is a third year resident and asked him if he was familiar with Airplane!. I’m proud to say that he said that it’s *Amazing* and then he started to quote parts of it.
