You obviously don’t read the labels: “Ivermectin is FDA-approved as an antiparasitic agent.” It’s use as a therapy and preventative for COVID-19 is under clinical trials. For that purpose, people have to wait for the clinical trials to be completed. Our medical system is the best in the world because those who practice have the professional integrity not to jump the gun. Until FDA approval, Ivermection for COVID-19 is just Snake Oil.
I can get over myself, but I cannot get over people like you who do not read the label and follow medical protocol.

Not if they don’t trust the FDA. If they want to take the risk, they can open the container and use it.
You obviously do not understand what the term, “off label” means for doctors.

We are in an acute pandemic situation with a highly infectious, potentially bio engineered pathogen optimized for human infection.
People have been and still are are getting sick and dying.
A proper clinical trial for an established and well studied disease requires at least 6 months to formulate a proper double blind protocol, establish the necessary controls, screening criteria, test methodologies.
Once that is done, it takes time to screen and evaluate participants, and then to separate them into comparable demographic cohorts to serve as test and control groups.
It then takes 6 months to a year to run the trials and several months to analyze the data.
There are serious ethical issues with using a placebo control group for double blind studies in the face of a deadly pandemic
All in all, you are looking at 1-2 years to eve begin to get results from the kind of clinical trials you propose.
In a pandemic,in that time frame, all the at risk people have been infected and are either dead or recovered and the pandemic has largely run it's course.
