The open borders issue is highly Partisan - Dems are strongly for it, President Trump is/was strongly against it.
The vaccines have been bi-Partisan. President Trump was very strongly in favor of them, and his accelerated development and acquisition is credited with saving over a quarter of a million lives in the USA alone.
