New Cases popped upward on this report (over 26K) - the highest in six weeks. Hospitalizations have started to climb slowly.

Significant local outbreaks or upturns have been reported in multiple locations over the last two weeks - Missouri, Louisiana, Utah, Arkansas, Kansas, Connecticut.

96% of Missouri’s new COVID-19 cases are Delta.

The Hill reports that 99.2% of American COVID deaths in June were among the unvaccinated. In Maryland, 100% of COVID deaths were unvaccinated.

The increases in hospital and ICU admissions are a solid trend in many areas, but the numbers are still more a ripple than a wave, and a tiny fraction of last winter. It sucks for those getting really sick or worse, but at least the numbers are small. 99% of those who died made a choice.

There were several studies started, looking at various combinations of vaccines. We will probably hear more results coming out over the Summer.

A few Western Governments have already adopted mixed vaccination as accepted policy.

The general expectation is half the total volume of the Winter wave, but quicker.

Sounds scary as hell. But exactly how many deaths were there? And what were the ages and co-morbidities? Were the patients offered early treatment with HCQ or ivermectin? Last I heard from our tubby RINO Governor, MD had no-one in the ICU with covid.
