He is the greatest ski jumper of all time, then he really messed up his life by being a drunkard, spent all his money on stupidity then married some older ugly heiress, who was a drunkard too and they fought and he stabbed her.
He was very simple-minded and impulsive, but I think this helps in ski jumping as thinkers don’t take the risks needed to win.
