FAMILY OF POLITICAL PRISONER: Our son has been in solitary confinement allowed outside the cell for one hour each day since March of 2021, for the crime of appearing on video walking through the Capitol Building with an American flag. We believe this is an abortion of justice, and no American should be persecuted by their government in this fashion. Can you help us get this abuse of power exposed to the American people on your outlet and do a story about it?
CNN/NBC/ABC/PBS/NYT/WAPO/LAT REPRESENTATIVE: Your son broke the law and should be in prison for putting people's lives in danger and trying to overthrow the government, not to mention all the murders of law enforcement personnel that took place on January 6th. We don't advocate for leniency or release of criminals like that, and we certainly won't give them exposure on our platform. However, if your son wishes to make a full confession of his crimes on national television or in the press, laying bare his racist crimes and exposing his co-conspirators to sedition and trying to engineer a coup, we can have someone there with camera within the hour.

You said you don't defend criminals, but your media outlet showed hours and hours of footage of real BLM and Antifa rioters trying to burn down a federal courthouse while there were actual living people inside, and then defended their arson and violence as "mostly peaceful" and said any of them arrested were political prisoners and lobbied to have them released with no charges, which was done in almost all cases! Those were real criminals!
