Was she obese? On any meds? There’s an antibiotic that can weaken tendons and blood vessels, its called “Cipro”. The warning lable says it can even happen months after taking. Either way, this is tragic.
I will never take it again. Had excruciating shoulder pain for three years requiring cortisone injections and physical therapy after taking Cipro for ten days for a sinus infection.
It's ironic that, at the time, people were hysterical about the "white powder" ricin being sent through the mail to public officials, and Cipro was the recommended antidote.
