Has anyone seen reliable information regarding the mortality of the Peruvian variant? I’ve seen “news” reports as high as 10%, and others that mortality is about the same as other variants. I have to believe the 10% number reported by the Sun utter BS.

10% among Peruvian hospital admissions, maybe, but probably not among all cases. Journalists have confused readers.

I have not yet.
There is a good chance that Delta could burn through enough more of the unvaccinated, and just not leave enough without immunity behind, before the Peruvian (C.37, Lambda) can get established.
