He never was a shoot off the hip and get it wrong kind a guy. He wants to find the facts first so when he shoots it hits the right target.

Trump is politically isolated. His own party will not support him on 1/6 and the stolen election in general. He had to let the temp go down a bit and let some time pass. Lately we’ve started to see some GOP types starting to speak the truth about 1/6. As time goes on we’ll see more and that will provide Trump support on his flanks.
