the message is that although ADT can slow growth
of prostatic cancer, they can also influence
(not always helpfully) the potential “fertile soil”
upon which a traveling metastatic tumor cell might land.
If you have a prostate cancer, there’s really only one treatment. Surgery.
I know 6 or 7 who had it and are happy with the result. I know one who got the “It’s probably a slow growing cancer” treatment, died in 8 months, and one who opted for radiation, and developed myeloma. I’m sure that was just a coincidence.
