Total Vaccine Doses Delivered: About 100 (Weekend/Holiday pause) (Still No J&J - over two weeks)
Administered: 610,000 (Weak) (30,000 J&J - weak)
People Vaccinated, First Shot: 301,000 (Weak).
Fully Vaccinated: 312,000 (Weak)
% Total Population with at least a First Shot: 55% (up 0.1)
Those ≥ 18 Years of Age (Adults): 67.1% (flat)
Those ≥ 65 Years of Age: 88.4 % (up 0.1) (78.6% Fully Vaccinated - down 0.1)
Cases, Hospitalizations and Deaths low, but these Holiday weekend numbers will likely be revised in coming days
38 and 37 Deaths over two days - likely these anomalous very low numbers from the Holiday weekend, will be revised upward toward the norm, over the next few days.
Reports from Israel that Pfizer may only be about 64% effective against mild cases of Delta variant, but still strong against severe disease
Resident Biden on Tuesday (6 July) announced his new five point plan to increase vaccination rates:
- Door-to-door canvassing in communities with low vaccination rates - Getting vaccines into primary care physicians’ offices - Pushing adolescents to get vaccinated as part of their back-to-school health checkups - Bring vaccine clinics to workplaces - Expand mobile clinics.
(Disclaimer: Don't shoot me, I'm just reporting for your awareness)
Dr. Yeadon, former Chief Science Officer for Pfizer’s Allergy and Infectious Diseases division, said that a researcher located those who’d had SARS1 in 2003 and tested them this year, with that original SARS1 virus. Those people were still immune, after 17 years.
The researcher then tested those people with SARS2 (Covid). Those people were immune. There is ‘only’ a 22% difference in the genomes between Sars1 and Sars2 and so immunity held.
But note those ill in 2003 did not maintain active antibodies for 17 years. Their immune sytem hibernated those (my words) antibodies until it recognized the pathogen from years ago and began producing antibodies.
There are two wings to the immune system and Big Pharma is focusing on ‘active antibodies’ as if that is an accurate indicator of immunity. It actually means ‘activated immunity’, when you may have immunity but haven’t been exposed in so long you don’t have the antibodies.
Dr. Yeadon says the ‘variants’ are no more than 1% or 2% different from Covid and those who’ve had Covid will be immune to the variants.
The Deep State just wants a repeat performance, They want to put us through the lockdowns and panic as if it never happened before; they like the way we obeyed and want to see it again.
Safe, effective treatments which cut risk of hospitalization and death among the most vulnerable (elderly, co-morbidities) by 85% have always been available. There's no need to become a lab experiment for toxic 'shots'.
Took the nut almost 20 minutes to spam the thread LOL!
Poor thing is losing it now that it’s ignored.
Not much news.
See a lot of complaints about the Israeli report, but unconvincing to me. My attitude is it’s one report, we’ll see what else we see. There are others showing better vax results.

Remember, observational vaccine study data are not randomized trial data. Allow for additional fudge factors. Importantly:
- Based on smaller epidemic, lower # of cases
- Fewer unvaccinated people, makes matching harder
- Does not negate other studies with higher VE estimates”
Seeing discussion of reduced dosages so more can be vaxxed.
We’ll see. There certainly seems to be much to gain from just exposing the immune system so it can learn the virus instead of starting from scratch when attacked.
Though having a whole bunch of specific antibodies can’t hurt too.
And I’ll continue my rant about it being so inconvenient for rural people to get vaxxed. But quietly...
(No update was provided on 5 July, the first day that was skipped)
A lot of govt. people are getting lazy about reporting lately. 25 states failed to report their daily updates to the Coronavirus site yesterday. It’s not much better today though some always come in late. The number of states skipping daily reports has grown lately. Colorado adds cases every day above those actually reported, maybe that’s common.
Still something like 93% effective against severe illness, yes? I think that's what I saw. Still among the best vaccines ever developed. Once they get their BLA later this summer, I *think* they'll be able to put out modified shots as an addendum to the BLA the same way flu vaccines do every year. The benefit there is they can likely get them into your local Walgreens or CVS in a matter of weeks upon emergence of a new variant that's evading the existing vaccine. J&J will be left in the dust at that point.
