A friend of mine lives outside of Seattle. He's convinced ‘’We're burning up!’’. I tried asking him those questions I saw here. “What is the correct mean temperature for the Earth?’’ What is the correct mean precipitation?'' He couldn't answer for a few moments. And then he repeated "We're burning up!''.

I guess you could tell him that all records were meant to be broken. I am sure that it has been hotter there since the last ice age. We have only been accurately measuring the temperature across America for about 100 years.
