I sometimes, actually more & more wonder how much longer I can take living with these people.
For me it’s all the commercials and tv shows, movies with Muslim women, women In headscarves mixing happily with non-Muslims that I don’t get.

My response to being called a ‘racist’ is to start doing what I’m accused of. In Asian restaurants, I tip 20% or more, same for Hispanic, same for Arab. But give me a black waiter...sorry guy, blame Jesse Jackson for your non-tip. And Uber is even easier, since you never see the person again. For healthcare, it’s more practical as I have no way of knowing if the person earned their medical license or was used to fill out a quota. In fact, I was given a reference to a doctor with an African name, was fine with it. But did some more research and found she was born in the US...appointment canceled (they were mad, I suspect they know why I canceled).
So sorry, while I still have some freedom left, I am now using it. Feels bad to engage in collective punishment - but then it wasn’t me or our side that started it.
