Yes on flavour, but definitely no to ‘on line’ when I mean I’m ‘in line’ waiting for an empty bathroom stall at the arena between hockey periods. We spell funny, but we don’t talk funny ... except for that weird thing some Canadians do with ‘eh’ ... and substituting ‘aboat’ for ‘about’. My grandfather was a proper Englishman and always said “Linda, speak the Queen’s English!”. No ‘eh’s’ permitted, and proper pronunciation was strongly encouraged.
Our cousins to the north also can’t pronounce “out”.
It nearly always comes out sounding like “oot”.
