My personal experience is with pool and hot tub companies. I have a pool and a hot tub and getting a service person to come over for any repair is now a 2-3 week wait. In 2019, a two-day wait would be typical. When they get here, they report that they’re insanely busy 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. They’re making more money than ever but are completely worn out. My hot tub man reported that the first things everyone did last summer when we were all locked down was adopt or buy a dog, and install a hot tub and/or pool.
