I don't doubt that states would track the vaccines they give, but, looking at the actual cards, I don't see any info there that actually correlates for tracking.

There’s plenty of information there. I have the same card, and it has my name and date of birth. It also has the product type (Moderna), the lot numbers for each of the two injections, and the date and location of each shot. I can assure you that the pharmacist also took my SSN, and I watched as she entered a bunch of stuff into the computer. One the digital record was online, I pulled a copy for myself. It has a large QR code and in plaintext, the dates on which I received the injections, along with the product name.

The lot number is used to track the recipients.
