Bill Cosby Blames “Mainstream Media” For January Attack On U.S. Capitol

If anyone thought a now-free Bill Cosby was going to lay low for a bit after having his rape conviction and sentence suddenly overturned last week, think again. The much-accused actor once known as “America’s Dad” chose America’s Independence Day to prove them wrong.

In a somewhat confusing, scattered statement today, Cosby decried the bloody attempted coup at the Capitol in January as the fault of the mainstream media.

“The mainstream media are the Insurrectionists, who stormed the Capitol. Those same Media Insurrectionists are trying to demolish the Constitution of these United State of America on this Independence Day,” the statement put out by Cosby’s longtime spokesman Andrew Wyatt added. “No technicality — it’s a violation of ones rights & we the people stand in support of Ms. Phylicia Rashad.”

His history of proven sexual assault did not help matters.

In the late Sixties and through the Seventies, it was the time of free-love and the drug counter culture, where recreational pill popping was the norm.   I was poor and never had the ability to actively do anything but watch, but that I did.   If a groovy girl was handed a pill in the time of "Peace Signs and Love Beads" she took it just like any dude.

My wife said that any girl that put herself into an obvious situation and later claimed molestation did it to keep from appearing a whore to her father.   They put themselves into his presence to get whatever they could.   To cry foul nowadays, Chicken Little thirty years after the fact should have been laughed out of town.
