Give Me Liberty (1936). It starts with an 1765 speech by Patrick Henry where draws analogs from history about the current acts of the British Monarch, George III, and the British Parliament. As his colleagues shout 'Treason' when he mentions King George, Mr Henry smiles at his verbal trap is sprung; " ... and George the Third may profit by their example!" Then, as he turns to sit, he ends with "If this be treason, make the most of it!"
Patrick Henry and Thomas Paine were both very eloquent wordsmiths in our Country's struggle at that time. They gave full proof to the axiom that words were as good as bullets!
