African and Caribbean blacks generally also do much better on all of those measures of economic success than do African Americans (as well as many other measures). It’s not the skin color, or the race. It’s the cultures.

I always think of the "Hey Mon!" skit from In Living Couple with the Jamaican family and the father who always said, "What you mean you only got one job? Why you lazy lima bean!"
