Wife and I had to quarantine (house arrest) for 14 days after playing cards for several hours with a person diagnosed, tested positive, and treated for COVID-!9.
NO ONE ELSE from our quarantine group got COVID.
The infected person was in his late teens and Obese. The rest of the card players were/are elderly. (70 plus) He was the nephew of one of the regular players.

Federal law requires all states to report all deaths to the National Center for Health Statistics, which is administered by the CDC.
Almost 100% of USA deaths are electronically filed on the U.S. Standard Certificate of Death.
