It is the outdoor pool in the picture. That wasn't the only source of water. The parking deck beneath the building also had chronic flooding problems from high tides and king tides.

As I said the pool was not “IN” the building it was on the property.
Dont recall reading where the pool was leaking, maybe you can provide that info ? The poorly slopped patio deck was leaking onto the area below and denigrating the slab and internal reinforcement which has been mentioned numerous times.
Also there was never mention of Hi Tides flooding the parking garage. Salt water intrusion below ground level is a different scenario and very real.
There was rain runoff ect flowing down the ramp into the parking garage which is common.
Many structures have sump pumps to pump this run off from a catch basin at the lowest point of the ramp.
Not sure what this bldg’s set up was.
