Yeah, the funky feeling can linger.

Never tried acupuncture, but I hear ya about trying anything that might work.

I would typically get the migraines after a period of stress (healthy mental stress). It would be like... “thank God that’s over with”, then boom — here comes the aura. So I try to maintain continual stress... lol

Stress will trigger them along with a change in barometric pressure or eating too much chocolate. If I am agitated or cranky the night before it means the migraine is rolling into town and by 4am I have knitting needles in my eyes.

I used to get those medieval fortification auras all the time before I had my heart attack in 2014. Haven't gotten one since. I'm guessing it has something to do with the medications prescribed to heart patients but who knows. Could be that I no longer have a 90% blockage of my left descending artery. Apparently I won a rarely won survival lottery that day
