My flag flies 24/7, and only comes down when it is replaced by a new one...

For the hundreds of millions of communist scum that have infested the country (it is no longer a “nation”) I’d prefer drawing & quartering rather than eye burning...
That would reduce the country’s carbon footprint and make a return of the Republic a possibility...

I fly a series of Revolutionary War flags for a few days each leading up to Independence Day, on which I fly the Betsy Ross ‘76 flag.
I have to admit, for a few months earlier in the year, I did not fly Old Glory because I felt our country was simply... Gone, and what it truly represented was no longer here.
But then I went on a family campout with my son’s Boy Scout troop, watched their flag ceremony and I decided I should continue to fly her, and all of the Revolutionary era flags as well. Who knows, it might actually prompt someone to think about the Founding again, what it all meant, and what those amazing people created for us.

Thanks for the reminder. I’m also going to watch John Adams again this weekend.

I served on a 6 person jury a few years ago and during a break a fellow juror started to talk about his vacation to Washington D.C. and how disappointed he was with all the "War Memorials" and the "militaristic theme" in so many parts of our capitol.
I asked him if we should apologize for winning WWII and his response was a shrug.
To top it off, this clown turned out to be our small town city manager who was later fired for sexual harassment of a subordinate.

My community has a flag hanging from every tree along the road. Semi-rural folks are pretty conservative.
