There was a time when Jesse Jackson was actually a conservative and ran as an anti-abortion, pro self-reliance Dem. Then he became a white man, as some commentator said, and drank the Dem koolaid...but just to get ahead and advance himself politically. And, of course, extort bunches of bucks and get wealthy.
Trump, on the other hand, became a GOPer and a conservative after a long life as a Dem. But being a conservative has sure not benefited him personally.

Fascism as a political system has existed and continue to exist in many countries. Notable examples include Italy, Germany under the National Socialists (Nazis), Spain, Croatia, and many other countries who organized a political system that incorporated a functional alliance between government and the private sector, with the private sector acting as an agent for the government in exchange for favorable treatment for those companies that do the bidding of the central government. The United States under Biden qualify under this definition. the key difference is that the American version uses the private sector to circumvent the Constitutional constraints that act against the Federal Government. Big Tech does the dirty work that the Biden Administration cannot do.
