I had never blown through a Chicken Coup at 55 mph, much less 75 mph.

Usually, stop at the scales and park in back to present your paper work inside.

Not today with elogs and such and a transmitter in the cab, many trucks owned by freight outfits with that setup don’t have to stop. Now, the independant owner operator is another story, they get those guys coming and going.

“I had never blown through a Chicken Coup at 55 mph, much less 75 mph.”

Then you didn’t have PrePass, electronic weigh station bypass. Your truck has a transponder like an EZ-Pass transponder. It tells the weigh station what company and truck the transponder is assigned to.
I got one specifically because I was making a lot of trips to/through Wyoming and stopping at the Port of Entry was a PITA.
