“”next few days in places where they don’t even have AC,” Rep. Bush said.””
WHERE?
We didn’t have AC in our house when we were growing up. If it got over 90 during the day, we just all went and slept in the downstairs “rec-room” because it was the coolest part of the house. Had a couple of fans going and that was that. We didn’t even “hydrate” back then.
My Nana’s row-house in downtown Philly got even hotter ... 2 tiny side windows for a little cross-breeze if we were lucky. She would wet the sheets in cold water and then lay them over us and we were just fine once we fell asleep.
