Step foot into another country, and it’s their rules. Why people act all shocked or surprised is beyond me. Apparently, even many of their people are Ok with it.
Then again, the U.S. has plenty of its own sheep and useful idiots to contend with.
This is happening to citizens of that country returning HOME.
The same happened in Canada. A returning passenger was treated like a criminal by CHINESE soldiers.
