Interesting model. Different treatments might be best in the different stages.
I thought that the Regeneron antibody infusion kind of took over from plasma, but I guess not.
I’m just a layman following a VERY specialized field.
The 3 stages have consistently struck me as significant.
Though I’d change “Lung infection” to “lung/body infection”.
Early on I saw articles and studies about the virus infection starting with infection of the ade-2 rich nose. Haven’t seen anything about that lately though.
Convalescent plasma definitely fell out of favor to Regeneron. I imagine that was because Regeneron was more helpful in later stage of the disease. I remember reading of the disappointing convalescent plasma studies too.
