If this happened at 1:00 am, why is the sky so light? At that time, you would think it would be black. For one thing, there was a full Moon on June 24th.

It may have also had to do with the settings on the camera and with the fact there are so many bright lights on the beachfront reflecting on the waters and back up to the sky.
