Also, while NAC, n-acetylcysteine is a fine supplement as a precursor for generation of L-glutathione, L-glutathione is used up quickly with illness/inflammation at fever level and is replaced too slowly. For acute use as with onset of viral illness inflammation, L-glutathione at the 1000mg to 2000mg a day to prevent cytokine storm.
Use both, keeping L-glutathione reserved for onset of illness and then use enough of it.
